Exactly what it should be

Everything you would want out of a workout app. The videos are perfect guides and its great that the app can create workouts based on how much long you want them to be.

This app is for real

I cannot say more than what has been said. I first bought the app, then knew about the book, so I bought the book too. Then I came to know about the premium videos, so I bought those too. For those who dont like gyms , and strict schedules , this is for you. For those who travel , this is for you. And for the price of an ice cream sundae , this app is a BIG bargain. Mark is a great couch and teacher.

Simple and efficient

This app is easy to use. It does exactly what you want it to do. Highly recommend it to those who are making the transition to body weight exercises and are serious about their fitness and strength goals.

Absolutely awesome app

This app nearly makes my iPad purchase worthwhile all by itself. The value is tremendous. NO in-app purchases are required to get an excellent workout starting at nearly any fitness level. Im currently doing the intermediate level 10-week program and loving it. This app demonstrates that smart-device, app-based workout routines and guidance are far superior to the old shiny disc approach. I also recommend Mark Laurens companion book--even if only for his own "swimming" story.

Defeat the dread

Do you dread your workouts? Are you finding it tough to get motivated? These workouts are creative, intense, effective...and best of all, relatively short! Can be done anywhere. After 30+ years of lifting weights Im over it. My body and my brain are all I need to get an awesome workout. Best bonus is that my old age achy joints dont hurt as much and my range of motion and flexibility has improved. Any body wanna buy some dust collecting Dumbbells?

Great App

Ive made real progress w these workouts. Stay committed and the systematic steps will get you there

Excellent!

The workouts have been kicking my butt! Super easy to follow along with, and the audio cues when to start and stop really make it feel like you are working out with the advantage of a personal trainer. Highly recommended!

Great!

Great app and good companion to the book.

Amazing! The Best of its Kind!

The absolute best body workout app ever! So convenient and easy to use.

Just plain fantastic!

Super awesome app! Everyone should literally buy the app.

Amazing content, bad UI

This is by far the best body weight training app on the App Store. Beginners on a budget seem to be the target audience but anyone can benefit from the quality instructions. The interface is cluttered and feels unpolished. Otherwise Id recommend it to almost anyone.

I love this s app sooo much

This app is he best thing all those apps on App Store ore are just stupid for working out but this app is awesome. I have started and it feels good to stay committed by hard so yah. Recommend this app for anyone who enjoys working out.

The best

I got the book as a christmas present a while back. Great great read, but hard to motivate yourself to get out there to do the workouts. Ever since I got the app it feels like Mark Laurens right there with me, and its... The best.

Great Product

I quit working out with weights 10 years ago due to injuring my shoulder by overtraining. Ive just finished the novice 10 week without aggravating my injury and lost 25 pounds in the process. Even though Im just getting started in many ways I feel stronger in an overall sense than I was after years of weights. Great program, great app and I love how the app counts and times everything so I can focus on form. (Yes, I find it difficult to stand erect and count to four at the same time). Thanks YAYOG for the perfect workout. Oh, and did I mention that Im past 50, so yes this even works for old guys!

Good but...

At least in beginner mode the instructions for the exercises are inconsistent with the verbal instructions. Where for example the exercise instructions say that one right side one left side movement is one repetition, the verbal exercises says "right side (or left side) only." So which is it? Some clarity is needed. Also the Apple Watch app is absolutely pointless.

Great work-out

I use this all the time. No need to buy a lot of equipment when you can use this and a chin-up bar. Highly recommend.

Great for the road

This app gives me great exercises I can use when I am in hotels on the road.

AMAZING, BUT...

Amazing, but you have to actually use it! This is the best $5 Ive spent because: - you dont need any equipment, just a few things around the house. - its super inexpensive, compared to gym memberships that you dont use. - its so convenient to workout, theres literally no excuse not to - its fun to use your household furniture in bizarre ways and call it exercise Tips: - buy it - use it - Check out /r/theXeffect on Reddit for help with sticking to it. - stop eating junk - working out is only part of the solution! If you actually want results then you need to change your diet. Ive seen awesome progress with Paleo, but find what works for you. "Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym" Download this - use it - change your life! Its easier than you think!

The best

Best exercise app I have found. Try the 10 week programs, they work. Easy to substitute if an exercise is too easy or difficult. I also have the YAYOG videos which are also excellent.

Ridiculously Good

There is simply an astounding amount of content accessible through this app: completely flexible training plans, step-throughs, warm-ups, videos of EVERYTHING, and a watch app. A perfect companion to an excellent book.
